I'm sorry my friend, currently Leipzig only has 2 pangolins, they did have 4 before, but 2 passed away, so there are 2 pangolins there for now.

I know - however, you said Leipzig "has had 2 pangolins there" not Leipzig "currently has 2 pangolins there", hence my correction. The first statement applies to how many they have had in total whilst the latter (which from your reply is what you intended to say) applies to how many they have currently.

So basically just a minor mistranslation and language gap :)

Seems like the Malayan tigers will come from France in this year, the government estimate of input cost is NT$853,545.

The sisters arrived on 1st March, and I was wrong, they were born on 8th July 2019.
By the way, this is the first time that North America, Europe, and SEAZA collaborate on Malayan tigers.

    1. Roti Island snake-headed turtles will be exhibited in July, and Malayan tigers will be exhibited in June.
    2. Currently Taipei doesn't have any "real" Taiwan black bears.

It is important that SEAZA set up a local Malayan tiger chapter next to the Sumatran program. I would very much advocate discontinuering any Bengal / hybrid white tiger diversions...!

Interesting to Watch to which zoo the Malayan tapir may be exporten to?!

What is origin of these turtles? Are they confiscated illegal pets or were they bred by Taipei zoo?

Turtle Island specialises in highly threatened turtle and tortoise species.
(a bit like Muenster Zoo's Turtle Alliance program).
