Born in the wild in Sichuan, An An arrived with his mate in Hong Kong in 1999. But his female mate, Jia Jia, died in 2016 at the age of 38, becoming the oldest female panda in captivity. Two more pandas - Ying Ying and Le Le - remain at the Ocean Park zoo.
Nope, they don't anymore. Their only polar animals currently are Gentoo penguins, southern rockhopper penguins, king penguins, Arctic foxes, spotted seals, and one of the park's highlights, the walruses.
