great picture, i also enjoyed this great exhibit of cuttlefish here. Not surprising, considering how important sepia is to the local diet. I did feel some remorse seeing them after having tasted some.

Did the cuttlefish change color or pattern while you were watching them? The dwarf cuttlefish at the Steinhart Aquarium were changing colors and patterns to match different substrates in their tank when my wife and I saw them. Truly wondrous.

Didn't see any significant changes of colour, but I was pretty much blown away by the sheer numbers (around 90 animals!).
Fantastic animals. |
