For those interested in the techniques of exhibitry, these "kopje" are not th usual shotcrete or gunite. They are a glasscrete on carved foam construction
I think this may also be the area where the bad fire occurred during construction |

Yes, the fire was near the lion building which is hidden by the "rock".
