What are in these reptile pits? Crocodiles or something?

didnt this used to be seal pools?

The furthest pit had turtles and Eastern Water Dragons; the middle pit had a couple of adult lace monitors; the closest pit had Central Bearded Dragons, Bluetongues, Shinglebacks and Cunninghams Skinks.

I never visited when they had seals, but I'm guessing this is where they were - the enclosures are deep enough and shaped like a show pool, and the flat area on the right is the edge of a stage. And of course, there are all the seats around the outside of the building.

Incidentally, the people in the photo are a family getting a reptile show, meeting a few lizards and a children's python.

i used to go to oceanworld when i was a kid and yes that used to be the seal pool. was renovated a fair while back.... dont know why these places keep getting rid of seals- they are always enjoyed - particularly by the kiddies

Probably because they are so damned expensive to feed. When a facility starts to feel the financial pinch, the greatest expenses are the first to be cut back.
