      I think this is a great photo; the shallow depth of field -- created via the use of a wide aperture -- directs the viewers attention onto the face, with that direct eye-contact, and -- to a lesser extent -- the forepaws. I like the way the head is framed cleanly within the main bulk of the tree stump behind it; and I love the slightly askew pose, with the forepaws wrapped around the side of the root.

      Much thanks! It also helped having the entire zoo to myself to position myself wherever I want without getting in the way of other guests.
