I was rather irritated to learn that this opened less than a week after my visit. I haven't been back yet to see it, but it looks to be fairly nice. Originally going to house spotted hyenas.
So the African wild dogs get this - good for them ! So why do the fishing cats at the same zoo get a couple of square metres with no living vegetation to touch during their short lives? What value scheme is operating here?
