A great idea when it made its debut almost 30 years ago (and Omaha took the concept to the next level) but this gorilla exhibit is now outrageously outdated. There is a 44 year-old female named Tiffany and I'm not sure if there are any other apes but I heard from a fairly reliable source that this is the smallest outdoor gorilla exhibit in all of North America. The tunnel has viewing into enclosures on each side but the two gorilla zones are incredibly barren and for the most part are tiny patches of grass.

I don't know why this zoo makes other animals' cage unsuitable. But it looks better than
      the fishing cat exhibition.

@snowleopard When you visited the exhibit, did it look like it could fit sun bears?
    • snowleopard
@Wyman Yes, the exhibit looked as if it could hold sun bears and especially geriatric ones such as the pair in Topeka. Those two bears have already achieved a number of years very close to the life expectancy for their kind.
