    Yes, so is it a loan or is she permanently there? The article makes it seem like the former by referring to it as a 'date'.
    Sorry if I'm coming across as stupid, I'm a tad confused by the article :)

    I often wonder if there is any truth in this sort of thing or is it just publicity- do Orangs really 'prefer' some images they see over others, or is it just fanciful thinking- and how does it transfer to reality?.

    Babirusa piglet has died at an age of 3 weeks :(.

    Does anybody know from where the new Grevy-Zebra stallion came from ? Maybe also his name ?

    For the first time in 6 years a Somali wild ass was born at Stuttgart - a male :).

    At the end of April a female Mesopotanian fellow deer was born and in July a male was born. Together with the 4 females and the breeding male Jason Stuttgart now has 7 animals of this rare (sub)species :).

    On August 22 a male Vicuga was born to female Lara. This is her 8th young.

    Pygmy hippo Hannibal had its 50th birthday this week.

    2 year-old Indian rhino Savita moved to Lisbon.

    2 scimitar-horned oryx females arrived from Lisbon and together with a new male they will join the grevy zebra enclosure.

    Wilhelma should also receive Tomistoma for their crocodile enclosure.

    When I'm informed right Savita is a male.

    "Savita" is defenitely a female and is supposed to do "little Indian Rhinos "with"Gangtok", a very precious breeding bull, who came from SD WAP to Europe.
