A female manatee has arrived from Faunia, Madrid.

0.1 Indian rhino Henna, 3, arrived from Basel. She is the first Indian rhino in a European zoo, who was allowed to stay with her mum, when mum Ellora gave birth to the next calf, a little boy called Kiran on October 5, 2013.

 

Thanks to our friends at ActuZoo for the news that Indian Rhino, Saathi gave birth to her first calf on 7th November. A first breeding for Beauval and the 3rd birth of this species in France (Following Cerza's success)

what size in acres is the zoo

 

The size is not listed on the English section of their website, but if you look in the FAQ on the French section, it says 27 hectares.

Since I am unfamiliar with the size of hectares, I did an online equation that shows that is just under 67 acres.

 

They have imported Pesquest's Parrots - 1.1, end of 2013.
