Malayan tapir at CERZA

CERZA have received their first Malayan tapir, i was wondering if this was the male born at Edinburgh as he recently left the collection.

At last i found out the tapir is called Benji, and came from Denmark, i am guessing Copenhagen, maybe Toddy can confirm.
Here are some pictures of his new enclosure.

Yes that seems about right, since Copenhagen is the only ones in Denmark to keep malayan tapirs. We also did have a male calf growing up here during the spring and summertime

It looks like he now has a better and more spacious enclosure than in Copenhagen. He must also be important to the European breeding programme since his mother came all the way from Singapore...
