A female Red Panda has arrived from Dublin, she joins the male who Lyon received from Ree Park during 2012
I just saw a figure that this zoo is getting 2,500,000 visitors per year. Is that true? Does anyone know? Thanks.

2 new species for Parc Tete dÓr - Zoo Lyon : From Munich 3 Fat sandrats came in - Lyon being the only French zoo with this species. From Bern 10 Agapornis nigrigenis - here also Lyon being te only French keeper. Also a Red-bellied lemur was born .

New big plan at Zoo Lyon : 2020 a large Asian Forest project will be opened ( With Owston civet, Malayan tapir, Bicolored laughing-thrush among others ).
Hello, anybody knows hoy easy to spot is the Owston palm civet at Lyon zoo. It's on show? How is the exhibit? It's hidden all day sleeping?
Any news of the new Asian Section for Malayan tapirs, Binturongs and birds ? I think, it is planed to be opend this year ?
The building works started one or two months ago. The opeing is expected for the end of the year but I am quite sure it will not be possible.
