I was wondering if anyone here has been to cerza or Champrepus zoo parks in france?
cerza is great for its large paddocks, its like a french version of marwell, its got indian rhinos and white tigers which were very impressive.
champrepus has got the best lemur enclosures i have ever seen, the planting and island habitats are amazing as well as the desert walkthrough for ring tailed lemurs!
CERZA is about 1.5 hour driving away from home so I go there generally once a year...
It's a good zoo, although the collection is not fantastic (for rare species hunter like me).
Esthetically, it was better a few years ago, now with all the enclosure's improvement, the zoo is pretty much a mess.. probably good to see in a few years.
