      This tank seems to be a larger, more impressive version of what is found at Vancouver Aquarium. I like the fact that both exhibits have a ring of trees around them to create a more natural appearance.

      I'm no cetacean expert, but I wouldn't associate the Beluga's natural habitat with trees! :D

      @Maguari: aren't there conifer forests in the Arctic Ocean?:) For visitors the beluga exhibits in question are more natural-looking, but for the whales they are bizarre green structures that aren't exactly common in their natural environment. Anything is better than an all-indoor concrete tank.

      It's difficult to imagine that for a beluga living in a tank of any size, the distant view of trees is a concern ;)

      Is the beluga whale exhibit at the Mystic Aquarium a good exhibit for beluga whales at an aquarium or just needs an upgrade?
