Three new saki monkeys have arrived: A male from England, and a female with her young from Jesperhus Holiday Park. The individuals are to be introduced to each other in quarantine before moving to the primate house.

I think the are now three pairs (one in the "old" enclosure and two in the new Tasmania area. One of the pairs has these new cubs. And then there is a bachelor group of young males, I think (again) there are three of them.

The pampas area has gotten smaller, part of it taken over by Tasmania, but it is still there with the same animals (guanaco, capybara, mara and nandu).

About the Emus, they were still there a month ago, probably still are, but the zoo has said one their facebook page that the plan is for them to move out, to another zoo.

As expected, panda plan now says 2017 but otherwise it's moving ahead.

Do you know of any plan to bring a breeding pair (tasmanian devils) to another zoo, I've read somewhere maybe Duisburg and that they weer on the wishlist of Pairi Daiza.

Are the any plans of trading with tasmanian zoos to get new blood Lines ?

Rumours go that Planckendael in Belgium is preparing for the arrival of Tasmanian devils.

    Can anyone confirm this?

I don't have confirmation for Planckendael or other places, but it was the plan from the start that if Copenhagen was successful (as it has been; several breeding) the species should be established in other European zoos. Another place that apparently is preparing for it is Prague in the Czech Republic.
