African Aviary
Old 07-04-2008

Marc, or any other Antwerp zoo regular, could you help me out here?

On the row of Aviaries by the Plains zebra and Cape buffalo, there is a glass fronted one. It houses Great Blue Turaco, Congo peafowl, Black crake and Speckled Mousebird, but there are loads more birds in here.

Could someone copy the signboard out for me on their next visit, as I'd like to write about this fantastic exhibit on my website?

Hello!

Yes I will do it on my next visit, I will remember it. Maybe it can take a while because I have a lot of work to do for school first.

Marc, I don't think those last three (monal, fisher turaco and argus) belongs to the African greenhouse. These birds can be find aside the greenhouse in other aviaries.

Yes, I remember the last three aviaries were separate, but I'd forgotten which turacos were in the Himalayan Monal aviary, so thanks for that

Yes idd but I also made a picture of them because they're also African birds.
