The birth at Pairi Daiza apparently came earlier than expected and went very quickly. The baby is doing well (luckily) and also drinking/being cared for well. If the weather allows, she is set to go outside soon. Visited Pairi Daiza last week. Giant Pandas, Snow Leopards, Golden Takin, Giant Otter, Binturong, Wombat, Common Hippo, Brindled Gnu, Spotted Hyena, White Rhino, Sable Antelope, Ankole Cattle & Cape Buffalo. They do have Tigre Blancs, but they could not be viewed satisfactorily. Take binoculars!

The shoebill storks of Zoo Zürich, Switzerland, and Zoo Wuppertal, Germany, have been moved to Pairi Daiza, Belgium, to make up new breeding pairs!
