Hamburg Zoo - Penguin Exhibit
Old 01-11-2008

The exhibit for Humboldt penguins in Hamburg Zoo. It's not the best exhibit i've seen for penguins, but at least, they can swim.

Yes, more a Kolmårdens old exbith, where could it do not swim! To be serious, how deep is the pool? Why are all the penguins on land?

It's not deep at all, it's almost like the old exhibit in Kolmården.

Is this part of the old Arctic Panorama?

Yes it is. In these exhibits you can also see sea lions, fur seals and common seals. A polar bear named Fanny also lived here for a long while, but she has been moved to the ZOOM Erlebniswelt in Gelsenkirchen.

I can't see whats wrong with the exhibit. And Sometimes penguins are on land, they do that in the wild too and never swim all the day.......
