Trying to piece together a species list from news reports and press photos. So far: Ostrich Rhea Demoiselle Crane 'Partridge' Peacock Wild Boar Fallow Deer Eland. 'Turkey' and other domestics (sheep, pigs, goats) All look to be kept in functional but spotlessly clean enclosures.
From what I saw on the news they also looked to be kept in pairs, the Eland was a surprise, as was the lack of big cats, I always assume these people would have big cats for some reason. As you say clean but very functional, though that could be winter quarters as all of -what I took to be box hedging and topiary had been covered in green netting probably to keep the shape during any heavy snow. It made it look like green painted concrete models though-. Also the animals seemed unfazed with all the people walking around too.
