Unusual Petting Zoo

A new petting zoo was created in Budakeszi Wildlife Park in July 2009. Instead of the usual domestic animals typical of this kind of zoo section, children can walk among and feed Western Roe Deer, Fallow Deer and Mouflons. All the animals are females and hand-reared. The new exhibit fit into the conception of the Wildlife Park as this 26 hectare-sized collection exhibit native European species.
