    Recently a Red-legged seriema atched at Leeuwarden :)

    Now that AquaZoo Leeuwarden is saved they have planned to come-up with a new species : Giant otters ! This would make AquaZoo the first Zoo in the Netherlands with this species.

    More plans for Aqua Zoo Leeuwarden. Next year Polar bears will come to Aqua Zoo and also Wolfs and Brown bears are planned.
    Some animals from the now closed Dierenpark Wissel / Epe have already found a new home at Aqua Zoo among them several South American primates, a Snowy owl and an Armadillo.
    In total the new owner will invest Euro 1.250.000 in Aqua Zoo !

    For some time 2 Red-crowned cranes hatched at Aqua Zoo Leeuwarden :).
