Yes it will happen.. but only for the brown bear part (they will be housed in the old lion/tiger house. Nowadays there are lions and hyenas in there, but in a couple of years those will have moved to new enclosures)

Pandas are a rumours that comes back every couple of years, but til now nothing happend so don't count on it, just like with the chinese snub nosed monkeys

it's going to be 2 aviaries with the little building in the middle. one side will be a walk-through with red ibis and crested screamer, the other aviary is yellow/blue macaw ( the Ara ararauna species) and seriemas. Maybe more species but untill now i only heared of these 4.

and the southern european side:




Any while i was scanning through these older pics i found a pic of the map of the gorilla-improvements:

(the green is the former surface of the island. The blueish/purple line is the new wall. The 2 arrows at the top that point into the enclosure is where bokito escaped. Thats where the lookout point is. Now there is a window over there)

The cunstruction of the new giraffehouse is going really quick now:






It can been seen throughout a large part of the zoo because it is extremly high.

That may be the weirdest looking giraffe house i have seen . But also pretty cool
