Some very bad news from Dierenpark Wissel in Epe. 12 monkeys were stolen last night from the park. The stolen monkeys are 2 golden lion tamarins, 1 cotton top tamarin, 6 silvery marmosets and 3 pygmy marmosets.
Other remakeble news from Wissel Zoo : 24 March 6 Corsac foxes were born to 2 males.....at least the zoo thought them to be 2 males ! They were obtained from a German zoo as being male but after one of the animals became quite fat, the possibility of a birth was taken in consideration and extra hey for a nest was provides. From the 6 young 1 was very weak and died shortly afther birth and 2 more died in the days afther the birth. The 3 remaining young are however doing fine
