Apenheul - Gibbon island
Old 01-12-2008

Part of the long island for white-cheeked gibbons in Apenheul, the Netherlands. Lots of live trees.

It must be difficult to spot the gibbons, but overall this seems as if it is a brilliant habitat for the apes.

Given that Gibbons are so damm active. Each time l have been here they are always swinging up and down the island. The break in the monkey bars gives a great view of there acrobatic skills.
