BTW, another group of black-shanked douc has just on exhibit in Shanghai Safari Park :p

      That is the Xianjiang park?

I thought Chimelong Guangzhou kept this species too?

BTW: How large population in Nanning for black-shankeds (P. nigripes from Southern Vietnam et al ... IndoChina)?
(I counted 1 male, 2 breeding females and 2 young babies ..., I expect they have more ...???)

Would it also be safe to say the species is now well established in Southern P.R. China zoos? How many exactly?

No, Xiangjiang Safari Park is the old name of Chimelong Guangzhou :) And the Chimelong put all of its langur species off-exhibit except the Francois' langur, because the visitors often complain "There are monkeys, monkeys and monkeys!" Thus nobody knows the situation of its douc population now.
Shanghai Safari Park is another zoo in Shanghai, east China:D
For the Nanning population, I had only seen these six ones (1 male, 1 non-breeding female, 2 mum and 2 baby), I also hope they have more in off-exhibit area ~
I don't think the douc population is safe in Chinese zoos now, since this species is so fragile, I guess the whole number of black-shanked in China is under 30, or even under 20? Thus it is still vulnerable.
