muntjacs
the animal on the left is a full-grown female Reeves muntjac (Muntiacus reevesi). The other animal is a giant in comparison. It is the same animal as in this photo http://www.zoochat.com/1686/muntiacus-gongshanensis-gongshan-muntjac-male-282543/ but whether it is M. gongshanensis I do not know. It does not really look like a black muntjac though. The enclosure was labelled as holding Reeves muntjac, black muntjac and tufted deer. There were lots of Reeves, one black muntjac and then this animal. No tufted deer visible on either visit, and I think I saw every animal in the enclosure because on the first day they were being fed by the visitors so all of them were up at the fence (this photo was taken through the glass front).
