Number 1 has me pretty vexed. It honestly is reminiscent of a horned parakeet (in it's head particularly) but I can't seem to find any Australian parrot species that match this photo.
just thought I'd point out that this thread (in its current truncated form) is once again the top most-replied-to thread on Zoochat with over 120 more replies than the next highest rating.

You know what? I think I'll give both Ituri and Pygathrix a point for #1, because it is indeed a hybrid (albeit a naturally occurring one), with some crimson rosella blood in there.
It is called an Adelaide rosella.
Looking at the tally, I think that Ituri wins, and can post the next pics.
1 capybara 2 striped hyena. 3 looks a bit like an Asian elephant but rather too hairy, 4 I can't even begin to work out the anatomy, 5 looks like another capybara, a bear or a hyrax??
