I was going to add the photos to the original post to make things easier but you can only have six images in one post, so I am putting them here instead (in two posts of five photos each). 1) Black-cheeked lovebird : Africa Alive! : 02 Jan 2015 by ro6ca66 2)Fossa by Arizona Docent 3)Kea : Cotswold WP : 26 Mar 2015 by ro6ca66 4) Giant panda Hao Hao by zoofanbelgium 5)Fishing-cat by Arizona Docent

If you look at any given image in the gallery, under the image there is usually a table of EXIF data. Under this table - or under the image if the table is absent - there are two options, each followed by a URL: Forum code (medium) Forum code (thumbnail) If you copy and paste one of these codes into a thread, the image will be inserted into the thread and act as a link to the gallery page if clicked. So for instance, the first option produces this image for photo 6, the Blesbok photograph: Whilst the second option produces this image for photo 10, the shortnosed echidna:
Me too. And I assume those of us who were nominated will have enough class not to vote for ourselves.
So many brilliant photos to choose from. I particularly like the Lovebirds, the Blesbok(which almost resembles a painting!) and the Panda too, but stuck with my initial choice, the stunning Military Macaw shot.
Some real great photos ( esp. Blesbok, Military macaw and Short-nosed echidna ! ) but voted for photo 8, the Pallas cat from ro6ca66.
I felt really bad for not voting for Gentle Lemur's echidna photo as it's a great picture of my favourite UK zoo resident but thought I'd best go for my nomination of the blesbok.
Nobody should feel bad about making the final decision in a difficult choice like this. Anyone who thinks the choice is easy and obvious probably needs an eye-test Alan
Well that was a difficult choice. I've gone for Fishing Cat, number 5, but its hard to single out one shot. I'm sure there are lots of other potential candidates out there that have slipped through the net, lost among the general views of enclosures and so on. I guess the only action I could take is to spend even longer on this site
C'mon people, we need those votes! "Nature's great masterpiece,an elephant;the only harmless great thing"-John Donne
So it seems to be that the lovebird shot by ro6ca66 is in first which is followed by the fishing cat pic by Arizona Docent. Plenty of more time to vote!
Make it lessons in high speed animal photography and it's a deal! (BTW I already voted for one. The fossa)
