I hope this will help free up some space in future. If you have a site were you put most of your picture say Flickr or Photobucket then please put your site address in this thread as this will help members find more of your photos Here goes my Flickr address is Flickr: AWKPHOTO's Photostream my Photobucket address is - Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket Please note just opened photobucket account so no photographs there at the moment
Will start to upload to my photobucket site late Sunday afternoon 10/10/10 all never seen before photographs will be uploaded
mstickmanp, I have been a fan of your photosteam for a long time. I have a a heap of your photos in my favourites.
As worthy as this idea is, I have to be honest that I'm not going to go to the effort of chasing all these galleries up. ZooChat's gallery is convenient in a way that a network of zoo-centric flickr accounts never can be. I suspect I won't be the only one.
I understand your piont but what I am trying to do is give people the chance to see other members photographs. If Sim does what I think is a good idea by getting members to vote on photographs that are ready to be put into the galleries then the ones that are not given gallery space can be found on these sites All the members have to do then is when posting a comment on a thread is just say they've updated thier flickr page and you can then visit it if you want. It's giving members a chance to post the not voted for photographs somewhere other members can still see them. All I am trying to do is help with the storage space on this site.
Interesting thread! Lee is there some mysterious, devious purpose behind the fact that the tags on your photographs bear no relation to the animals in them? eg a rhino has the tags Flowers Meerkats Cheetah Cats I love the sleeping orangutan/rhino/bear/panda/butterfly/dragon though.
No not at all, it is due to batch tagging of photos and lack of internet acess to correct them. "Devious" is a slightly harsh word And thank you for your kind comments regarding my pictures.
It always amazes me how many wildlife/zoo photographers also love planes, trains and automobiles, and vice versa! My eclectic mix of things with wings and wheels is at Flickr: MaisieHexagon's Photostream
