Are there any Indo Chinese tigers in the Czech republic, none on ZTL, Malayans from Prague or Usti perhaps? Flying tigers over Vietnam with CV alive | Air Cargo World
I would think they must be Malayan tigers. There was a big genetic study done a few years back to determine the make-up of captive tigers, published in 2008 or so, and at that time there were only 14 known captive Indochinese tigers. One was in Taiwan and all the rest were in southeast Asia, primarily Vietnam and Thailand. With regards to which Czech zoo the tigers have come from, all the media reports are derived from the same press release and just say "...their origin in the Czech Republic..."
