A lady who admits she wandered into a prohibited area and stuck her arm through the bars of a tiger cage then got attacked by a tiger and lost her arm. The zoo then gave her over $6000 in compensation. I understand it might be a dodgy facility, or that covering medical fees out of sympathy might be appropriate, but why is the zoo paying her anything directly?
