Lahore zoo welcomed it's second leopard cub in three years today. A leopardess that was bought from an unnamed African country 3 years ago give birth to it's second cub today. The first cub, Rosie, had died at only 3 months old and the cause of her death was not revealed to the public.

Lahore zoo has two adult leopards currently in it's collection, a male of the Indian subspecies and a female that was imported 3 years ago most probably from South Africa. They also previously held a wild caught leopard but I don't know what happened to it.
I'll be adding a reliable source to this article as soon as I can. :)

Lahore zoo, through their facebook page, announced the birth of an olive baboon today. The sex of the animal is not known yet. With this the number of baboons residing at the zoo is now at 12 animals.
This is also the first time the zoo has officially announced the number of baboons residing at the zoo since they last published their annual report to the public, at which time they had 9 animals.

Environment Protection Dept. of the Punjab government has, after almost a year, allowed Lahore zoo to import elephants following the death of it's only female, Suzi, 2 years ago. Apparently 2 female African elephants are to brought from Namibia. There were talks about renovating the elephant enclosure the year following Suzi's death but I can't confirm whether those plans came to fruition.

Also, 3 white tiger cubs born a few months ago have been reported to have died from feline distemper.
