This exhibit is netted and contains radiated tortoises and birds as well as lemurs. Note the Bernier's teal in the bottom right-hand corner.
'Madagascar' walk-through exhibit, Cotswold Wildlife Park, August 2008.
The tortoises have a sandy patch, with a stone border to stop them leaving it. I guess they have a shelter in a corner somewhere and I'm sure they'll be taken indoors in the winter.
The lemurs didn't seem to be interested in them at all.
The LA zoo has their ring-tailed lemurs mixed with a pair of radiated tortoises and it seems as they get along fine. Also the bronx zoo has the same mixed exhibit with lemurs and tortoises.
