Could be made okay.......New paint Job,clean water,Hay floor loads of branches........demolition of those walls that make ito several small enclosures could cost abit but would be good for next 2 0r 3 years or so till a new good one is built

We are all in agreement on this one...it could potentially need a bulldozer!

Have to say, l think that this enclosure is actually okay for the orang. Derfinatley not for the public. The keepers and the zoo have obviously put allot of work into this. From the picture it apears that he/she has access to 3 old enclosures. Climbing structures, enrichment.

I belive it is important to see a enclosure through the animals eyes not mine!

Of course it should be bull dozed! The point is the zoo has done allot here and that needs to be recognised.

I think we would all agree with that but you must remember that the zoo has lots of buildings that are protected listed buildings which can not be touched. Visited the zoo yesterday for the first time in years & serious improvements have been made. Could be a great zoo in time.

I agree with Zooman and Stephend Dudley Zoo are in a rather hard time at the moment due to funds and listed enclosures but they are doing what they can and it is brilliant to hear that major improvements have been made. But overall what are zoos here for?
The animals and every single decision made in a zoo should be for the benifit of the animals. The public need to be catered for well but they should not rise above the animals.
You can see they are doing what they can and i agree with Stephend it could be a great zoo in time. But it needs time! and it is doing its best
Regards
