Alton Towers Zoo

There was a Zoo at Alton towers, a theme park in Alton, Staffordshire, from 1959-1962.
Does anyone have any information about the zoo I can use for a short piece of writing? Many thanks, Advertisement

Alton Towers Memories - Old Alton Video Archive I went as a small child, but I don't remember anything about it, sealions were still kept in 1981, the time of my last visit. |

I think the sea lions may have been there in the early 1990's, they were definitely on the map when I was younger!
