I would change Cleveland Metroparks Zoo's Primate, Cat and Aquatics and Northern Trek.
Primate, Cat and Aquatics would become the African Rainforest, similar to San Diego and Columbus, with-
    Pygmy hippo
    Red river hog
    Bonobo
    Gorilla
    Okapi
    Black duiker
    Leopard
    Mandrill/drill
    Some African birds
Northern Trek would be split into two. The first part would be renamed "Northern Wonders" and have-
    Polar bear
Harbor seal and CA sea lion (separately)
    Bactrian camel
    Thorold's deer
    Grizzly/black bears
    Gray wolf (not Mexican gray)
I would halve the beaver enclosure and add river otters. I would bring back painted/softshell turtles and add enclosures for snakes, box turtles, salamanders, and frogs of eastern North America in the front of the wolf cabin.
The second part would be where the tigers and the rest of the bears are and would be called "¡Ay!" and focus on the wildlife of Puerto Rico and Mexico. A building would have Puerto Rican species first- coquis and Puerto Rican crested toads, and various bats, invertebrates, and herpetofauna of Puerto Rico in the building. Smooth-billed anis, parrots, and bananaquits would live in netted aviaries outside the building. The Mexican wolves would go to the Mexico part. Jaguars and Mexican wolves would have outdoor enclosures, followed by a building for small animals of Mexico, including Durango mud turtles, Durango chipmunks, bats, Mexican red-kneed tarantulas, and various herpetofauna.

Simple. More programs for adults. San Diego Zoo and also the Safari Park have such a wonderful selection of tours and activities that are for everyone, not just a child with a care provider because they have to have one. Many people have suggested more adult or family stuff and they say they'll pass along our suggestions but nothing ever happens. We get to pay for everything but then we have to stand back and watch the kids get everything.
