Vote for which one your favourite is, why and your favourite animal within that section.

I have voted Hoofstock because of the sheer range of the section from Pudu to Hippopotamus and Camels to Giraffe. My favourite however has to be the Blackbuck because they're very cool looking animals with sexy, twisty horns ;) Lol!

You missed off primates - you'll be in trouble with the Great Ape Brigade! :D

Personally, my favourites are a bit scatter-gun - certainly ungulates (bovids in particular), small carnivores, all the weird little small mammals, coastal and wetland birds, crocs and monitors, amphibians and insects.

I chose Other - all :D Sometimes I'll go to a zoo and the hoofstock will be my favorite, other times it will be the carnivores.

Whilst I like most of the above I'm most interested in herps, I want to work with them :D
Can't say I have a favourite species though, I love chameleons, monitors and most snakes. I think one of my favourites is retics, although I get the impression they're not that good to work with lol.

It's a toughie, cos again at a zoo the animals I like the most can be a variety pack. For example, my favourite animals at Marwell are the Giant Anteaters, and when I visited Howletts the elephants, gorillas and clouded leopards were jostling for the position of my favourite there.

I voted for carnivores as this encompasses many charismatic and big-name species, as well as having a lot of diversity. Second would probably be primates for pretty much the same reasons and, between these two categories, pretty much all of my favourite animals can (rather boringly) be found.

I voted 'Other' for Primates which I find fascinating, my favourites being Orangutans.

I also voted Other, in lieu of Primates !

My favourite animal is the orangutan, but I could stand and watch gorillas or chimps for just as long. I think their obvious similarity to humans is what I find so fascinating but they are also impressive and beautiful creatures in themselves.

I went with other--marsupials are my favorites. I do, however, like all sorts of animals--generally my favorite animal is the one in front of me at any given moment!

Great Apes are mine. I love seeing the Gorillas at London Zoo and Longleat (and literally cannot wait until Marwell get some). And I've only ever seen Chimpanzees twice, at Blair Drummond and Monkey World, which is where I've only ever seen Orangutans. I think the fact that I rarely see them is what makes them so special.

Second to that would be hoofstock.

I voted Hoofstock. There are loads of species which come under this catergory such as Gazelle, chevrotin and okapi. I particulary like weird but wonderful creatures like the okapi. Shame you missed off primates lol!
