Hello, can anyone provide me with a list of species (and specimens if possible) in The Ocean Voyager Tank in The Georgia Aquarium. And the same question applies for the Okinawa Churami Aquarium. And also I would like species lists of other mega tanks around the world. Thanks in advance
The lists for each section on Okinawa Churami's homepage are fairly good and updated with some frequency. You still shouldn't expect them to be entirely complete or up-to-date. In Japanese with english and latin species names. Kuroshio Sea (name of their ocean tank): churaumi Remember to click on the arrow to go to page 2. Their big predatory sharks (currently tiger, sandbar, bull and sicklefin lemon) are kept in another tank with bowmouth guitarfish. Georgia used to have a similar list for the Ocean Voyager tank on their homepage, i.e. pretty good but neither entirely complete nor up-to-date. It appears the page is gone but you can see it via wayback machine: Gallery Animals (March 2014 version).
I've not spent too much time on the New England Aquariums website, but here is the page for their giant ocean tank. Probably not much of one by other Zoochatters standards, but I think it warrants a mention. They list at least some of the species in there. The undisputed star of the tank is Myrtle the Turtle, she is the oldest animal at the aquarium I think. Sorry I was too lazy to type a list. Giant Ocean Tank
