I would like to open a new thread to collect EEP and SSP regional and international studbooks and to discuss about it.

    My first question:

Is there anyone here who has access to a copy of a european diana-monkey studbook?

According to the Diana monkey EEP Annual Report, there hasn't been a studbook published since 2000. A new one is planned for the near future. The EEP population at 31/12/13 stood at 32.43.5 in 22 collections. 2.1.2 births, 2.3 deaths. Ostrava held the biggest group: 5.6.4.

It does not matter whether an older or newer edition.

I am looking for information about diana monkeys at Leipzig Zoo (name, date of birth, ancestery, way of life) from 1964 to 1990.

Thanks a lot and kind regards from Germany.

Thank you very much, Bele. The zoo-report is speeking from a diana-monkey born in 1965. Is that a mistake?

RHABO came from a private breeder in Ebeltoft/Denmark, born 21.08.1988.

I think, MARY (sire: 131, dam: 134?) is supposed to be the animal mentioned in the zoo reports.
