Which is considered more ferocious in accordance to scientific studies? The wolverine or the badger? Just curious.

erm, wouldn't an answer to this question require a "scientific study" directly comparing both species to one another. And in which respect does one determine "ferocity"? To humans, to their prey, how bloody they make their kills, in defence, in unprovoked attacks....?

I was mainly thinking about their mean temperament and the amount of damage they can do. Of course, the reputation might be greater than reality.
