I've seen this before and there is a number of the obvious zoos (Chester, San Diego, Bronx, Singapore etc) mixed with a number of 'dark horses' (Prague, Basel, Beauval, South Africa etc).
The list is: - Disney Animal Kingdom, US - Basel Zoo, Switzerland - Beauval Zoo, France - Berlin Zoo, Germany - Bronx Zoo, US - Chester Zoo, UK - Prague Zoo, Czech Republic - National Zoo of South Africa - San Diego Zoo, US - Schonbrunner Zoo, Austria - Singapore Zoo, Singapore - Smithsonian National Zoo, US - Taronga Zoo (& Western Plains), Australia - Toronto Zoo, Canada - Ueno Zoo, Japan |

A list like this can never be comphrensive, there should be three or more lists, such as:
- World's best large zoo - World's best small zoo - World's best open range zoo Did you change your photo Jimmy..? It used to be a bird on your shoulder, correct..? |
