    If...
You spend an Hour in the reptile house
Listen to what people think Tapirs Are
Spend 15 minutes at the Lobster Exhibit
Your Favorite animals at the zoo are the Giant Elands

If you visit every exhibit at a new zoo at least twice (or at least the ones you want to double-check if time is pressed!).

When you answer a quiz question, "which crocodile is named after a river," with Orinoco.

I've never been a fan of tits, but I think brown boobies are fascinating. Yes, the link is completely safe for everyone.

You want to scream at people for misidentifying an animal. IT'S AN AFRICAN WILD DOG, NOT A HYENA! THEY'RE NOT EVEN IN THE SAME GENUS

You want to scream at people who harass zoo animals. Doesn't matter if they're kids!

You own an obscene amount of zoo souvenirs or T-shirts.

When you're more interested in rarer, obscure animals like the Orinoco crocodile than the African lions.

Took me a while to realise that there was a more obvious answer than Orinoco;)

When for your school project about an endangered animal, instead of choosing a panda, wolf, tiger, or whale, your trying to decide between Gharial, Goliath Grouper, Malayan Tapir, Guar, or Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle.

You wait around an exhibit for the other visitors to leave so you can take a picture of the design without people staring, only to get annoyed when people think you're looking at an animal and come over to see what it is (at which I usually nonchalantly wander off and wait for them to go away again)

You see people with notebooks/big cameras/no children and wonder if they're Zoochatters

You might be a member of Zoo Chat if you think it is perfectly acceptable to eat curried dog.

If you're willing to spend hours getting to a collection just to glimpse one species and then happily head home!

You hate people saying " it's so cute" relying on juvanills to fill your happines when you go to the zoo not recognising the beauty and wiseness of the older ones.

In my language, mammals are called "pattedyr" - "patter" can also be a slang term for breasts that many teenage boys are very fond of. Indeed similar to "tits" or "boobs" (though it's probably a bit more vulgar than boobs).

Maybe I belong to Zoochat because I managed to go through my teenage years without ever snickering at the word "pattedyr". :p

...if you know what "Wgasa" means from San Diego Zoo Wild Animal Park's former Wgasa Bush Line.

You would rather watch a necropsy than a birth.
