I have seen all but three of these too - I've never seen Mexican wolf, saiga or Sumatran rhino.

The other things I would like to see include:-
Amazon river dolphin
blue duck
bushmaster
Desmarest's fig parrot
dugong
giant eland
golden snub-nosed monkey
great white shark
gyrfalcon
kaka
king bird of paradise
New Caledonia giant gecko
numbat
platypus
sable
satin bowerbird
sea otter
solitary lory
squid (any species)
superb lyrebird
Steller's sea lion
Tahiti blue lory
whale shark
That's enough to be going on with

Alan

I've seen all but 2 from the original list: saiga antelope and jackal. Interesting enough jackals are hardly represented throughout North American zoos, as I've seen around 45 zoos on that continent and zero jackals.

Animals I'd like to see: proboscis monkey, numbat, brown hyena.

I could die a happy man if I saw a Platypus, short and sweet. I could list others I wouldn't mind seeing but Platypus are my favorite

Generuk
You mean Gerenuk, right? The long-necked African antelope. Or is Generuk some other animal I haven't heard about?

just did a quick tally and there's about 110 species listed on this thread - and I've only seen 28 of them in zoos! But I've seen 15 of them in the wild.

I couldn't list all the species I'd like to see one day because it would be far too long, but among them would be:
giant anteater
giant armadillo (well, any armadillo really)
yapok
hairy frog
Lake Titicaca frog
tarsier
aye-aye
otter civet
banded linsang
etc etc etc
