Most attractive names of current zoos world wide for me are, Pairi Daiza and Faunia Madrid.

I can't remmember for other, but I may add several other if I see more comprehensive list of zoos world wide. Also quite attractive are the zoo names like Taman Safari, Paignton zoo, Santa Barbara zoo, White Oak Conservation Centre, Mogo zoo.

The zoo name is very important, as may influence the success of zoo in regard to visitors number.

    What's yours? :p

And maybe the question also should include, what name will you give to your eventual zoo, but I would not want to put this question to Fantasy section.

Given that most major zoos derive their names from the city / municipality they are located at, the range of potential names is rather limited, and I wonder whether it's such a big deal to most visitors. Alternatives such as the ones you've mentioned as well as ZooM, Nordens Ark etc. are hit and miss.

BTW: is your current zoo externship and your profession so boring that you still have time to dwell at ZC and create new threads? ;)

    'Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World'.

It is, or was, in NZ. Chlidonias can no doubt confirm which.:)

Actualy currently I am working from my computer, translating veterinary book from English. And waiting for approval for my business - small dairy plant for goat and sheep milk (with localised activity, drinks based on goat and sheep milk). Given so, working from my computer, I can, almost all day, periodicaly to check, what's going on on Zoochat. Plus I am very low paid (you can even been shocked), but still I have a drive to succeed more in financial manner...

Oh yes and still I haven't started yet volunteering at zoo, because the approval process for the dairy is prolonged..

It still is in NZ, although now goes by the slightly less attractive name of "Kelly Tarlton's SEA LIFE Aquarium"...

Good luck with your business project @Nikola-it sounds a lot more plausible than some of your zoo ideas.;)

There is (used to be?) a French zoo that only kept various breeds of sheep as well as wolves and shepherd dogs; maybe this would be a great option to combine both your dairy business with a private zoo...

    Thank you.

But I love more to have a zoo, and actually this is just a plan (with the small dairy plant) to gether money, for the bigger project, the zoo. Hopefully I will gether some funds.

Otherwise I don't love zoo with domestic animals, nor with a lot of native European animals (except vultures and some reptiles).

Pretty much everybody here at ZC would "love" to have a zoo of one's own liking; whether they achieve it or not, however, is a very different matter.
