Adult male? In a side pen beside the Australian Pen at this Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust Centre. They hold three pairs of this spectacular species. 12th February 2008.

Wow, nice picture of a brilliant animal. They have these at Blackbrook too.

Are the ones at Martin mere near some very aggressive Cape Barren geese?

They were, I think, when I last went.

All Cape Barren geese are aggressive, particularly as this is their nesting season. There was one pair near their pen. This pair were several pens further on.
