In Burma there are two subspecies of this rare feline.
Macrosceloides in northern Myanmar and nebulosa from southern Myanmar.

To be honest and evaluate it impartially, I would it evaluated according to different criteria.
Following the example of coat, size spots - it probably was the the earliest subspecies macrosceloides. The reason? Too big differences between both the sub each other.

And I ask, have you seen this species with such diverse spots in a fur coat as the yet?
Answer: Just look HMW1 publication and immediately find the striking difference.

I just compared the differences with the publication HMW1 in my hands. These markings on the head and neck in the form of spots and stripes more or less speak in favor of the subspecies macrosceloides. At least according to what I see.
