I just got an email from the SDZ (Zoo Chatter) announcing the birth of four (2.2) New Guinea singing dogs.

"What's cuter than a New Guinea singing dog puppy? How about four! Mom Samber and dad Marlin are the proud parents of two girls and two boys-Tari, Jaya, Kota, and Huli. Come see the pups romp and tussle in their exhibit in Cat Canyon. They are on exhibit daily until Mom decides it's time to bring them back into the den."

The two singing dogs we have at the Toronto Zoo are Tari and Koto. I guess it can be hard coming up with original names

Giant Panda Loan extended
Old 13-12-2008

This week's e-newsletter (Zoo Chatter) announces the extension of the giant panda loan from China!

Quote:
Everyone's favorite black-and-white bear will be here at the San Diego Zoo for at least the next five years! Representatives of the China Wildlife Conservation Association will be at the Zoo December 18 for a special ceremony commemorating the signing of a new panda loan agreement. The historic event begins at 11 a.m. near the Zoo's Giant Panda Research Station, and you're welcome to attend!

Not only did San Diego get a loan extension, but the loan price is half the original deal. Now it is $1 million for the pair!

Just caught those cute Sun Bear cubs on our local KTLA Morning News a few hours ago. Have to get back down there soon. Hope to get some back here in L.A. again someday.

It's been like that on ISIS for a long time, and I had confirmed to me recently that she was still there. Another ISIS reporting error I believe...

This may be a very dumb question, but how do you exactly access ISIS?
