Have to start this thread with some sad news.
"Nuka" a 31yr old Hawaiian monk seal has been euthanized, leaving only one animal in the collection. The aquarium had been offered a wild male seal, that was killing pups in the wild, but seem to have turned down the offer. A new male Hawaiian monk seal is currently in quarantine at the aquarium after being rescued, he will be a permanent resident at the aquarium.
