The Audubon Nature Institue is ready to add another facility to its ranks. The Audubon Alive project is to be built in Baton Rouge, LA and be a zoo, aquarium, museum that uses technology and live exhibits.

Is the old carnivore building in the Audubon Zoo still existing, and if yes, is it still used for big cats ?

I believe you are talking about the old buildings that the Asian Domain was built around?...then yes. The old carnivore building is used only for holding while the exhibits are adjacent to the holding areas.

Part of the old carnivore building is also used as part of the children zoo.
