Baby Panda!
Old 31-08-2008

I just watched the birth of a baby panda at Zoo Atlanta about 20 minutes ago (10:14 PM Eastern time USA). The baby seemed to be quite active. Amazing!!

I missed it, I was watching at around 5 pm and got bored, cause nothing was happening, so I turned off the webcam.

It was the same thing when Tai SHan was born for me.I was watching Mei Xiang for about two hours on and off in the middle of the night but then I got tired and went to bed.The next morning,I discovered a panda was born in view of the camera with the cameras on the internet rolling 10 minutes after i went to bed

Zoo Atlanta hit the jackpot, as they already have a small panda that is only 2 years old, and now with another baby to go with the elephant due in April they should have visitors lining up down the street.

yes they did, but I feel bad for memphis, as they've tried to breed their pandas forever but no luck yet.

I'm not sure.

I just said that because the last time memphis had a pregnancy, it ended in a miscarriage.
